Across the country water continues to flow and our members are playing their part. Many people forget that water treatment is part of food production and manufacturing. If a water softener stops or it runs out of salt in your home then it can be unpleasant but if the local dairy has a problem then they cannot pasteurise your milk and bang goes your morning coffee. Now that is a problem.
Our members that supply salt report that they are very busy and most are only offering deliveries to do their part in stopping the spread. There has also been an up turn in the salt sold to new customers.
